A minimal platinum ring with a laboratory-grown diamond on a warm stone surface.

Private diamond commissions / North America / By appointment

Made for one person only.

A private studio for custom laboratory-grown diamond jewelry, designed from first conversation to final piece.

Begin a commission

Each piece begins as a geological process, accelerated, controlled, and assigned to one brief.

How a commission begins

Four controlled decisions before anything is made.

01 / Brief

The conversation

We begin with the reason for the piece: proportion, wear, stone preference, and the details that should remain private.

02 / Stone

The selection

We narrow the laboratory-grown diamond options to the cut, size, color, and documentation that fit the brief.

03 / Form

The drawing

You review one focused proposal with setting architecture, finish direction, timeline, and fixed production pricing.

04 / Making

The build

After design approval and deposit, production begins. Most commissions require six to ten weeks before insured delivery.

On the stones

Created in controlled laboratory conditions.

The diamonds used in every Aster Vale commission are chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds. We work with this material because the chain of custody can be documented, not because it needs a softer story.

Stone documentation is identified before production. When a grading report is selected, we name the laboratory and report type in the proposal.
